South America
It is unwise to paint in broad strokes when describing an entire region's coffees. For guidance in choosing your coffee, though, we'll give you some idea of what to expect.
Latin America is HUGE! Correspondingly, there are thousands of coffees hailing from here each year. They often have a mild acidity up front, and adequate body on the finish. Typically though, these are "safe coffees." By no means are they ordinary; they are simply the flavors that we in the U.S. have come to know as coffee. Nutty, rich, round, and drinkable. Serve these coffees at gatherings or when you're not sure of one's coffee preferences. They'll never steer you wrong.
