Costa Rica Zalmari Miel

This rich, sun-dried coffee from the Orosi Valley is really clean and super drinkable. Look for vanilla on the nose, a lively & sweet first sip and pronounced caramel in the cup.

Additional notes: This coffee is produced in the Cachi microregion of Orosi near Cartago, Costa Rica. Four generations have produced coffee at the La Margarita farm. In 2000, the family built a micromill and named it Zalmari. This farm neighbors the Tapanti Wildlife Refuge and has gained the nickname “Misty Mountain” as a result of the mist that comes down the mountain of the wildlife refuge at night. This honey microlot produces an excellent espresso, developing floral notes and dark chocolate tones.
