"I'm highly...and I do mean highly impressed. The burlap bag and note set the stage for quality for sure! I first brewed the UTOPIAN Reserve. The taste is a sweet, smooth flavor that reminds me of what first got me drinking coffee in 2001 in Spain. Although I owned a cafe in Iceland that prided itself on the many types of coffee that we provided, I never had coffee like this...it's good...really good!"

Utopian Reserve is a blend of 4 coffees Daterra Brazil, El Salvador Apaneca-Ilamatepec (Santa Ana Volcano), Sumatra Triple-Pick Lintong, and Ethiopian Natural Sidamo. It is roasted to a medium, medium/dark profile. On the aroma you'll get cedar, and hints of syrupy fruit. In the cup, you'll notice a nice smoothness, mild spice, pipe tobacco, and a hint of blueberry or cherry on the finish. This blend was originally designed as an espresso. In that capacity it produces quite the complex demitasse. A regular taste parade, this one begins with lively, sweet cherry, works into pipe tobacco, and finishes with cedar & milk chocolate.
