Q: Who can qualify for the contest?
A: All Cutco reps and managers have the opportunity to qualify by selling Utopian Coffee.
Q: When does the contest run?
A: This contest runs from May 17, 2017 – August 19, 2017.
Q: How do I get entered into the drawing?
A: To be entered, reps must sell 100 bags of coffee and managers must sell 500 bags (total office sales). For each additional 15 bags sold (50 for managers), you will receive another entry.
Q: Which orders count?
A: Coffee bags tied to your rep number will count, so one-time orders and new/renewed subscriptions during this contest period. Only 3 bags per order/address will count toward the qualifying number and only 3 bags per credit card. For orders to count, they may not be returned, cancelled or refunded.
Q: How many contest participants will be chosen for the trip?
A: Our goal is to select one rep and one manager, but this is dependent upon how many qualify (are entered into the drawing). We want you to have good odds of being selected, but we also have to have enough sales to support the trip. We may open the trip so that anyone who qualifies can pay to go on the trip as well. If there are not enough individuals who qualify, Utopian Coffee reserves the right to modify the winning prize.
Q: When will this trip take place?
A: Travel dates have not been confirmed yet, as the trip still being scheduled, but it will most likely be in 2018.
Each bag is 12oz of specialty coffee. Unless otherwise noted, the initial order will contain three 4oz bags of coffee–one a light roast, one a medium roast and one a dark roast.
We love the enthusiasm to sell coffee, but for a variety of factors (different pricing structure, commission tracking, etc), Vector and Utopian Coffee are NOT currently offering any opportunities to sell bulk/wholesale coffee. We want reps to be able to focus on the easier sales to the end consumer.
From a service perspective, we want the customer to have the best experience possible. Unfortunately, we cannot afford to send a 2nd bag of coffee, as we’re unable to re-use coffee, so we would be paying for 2 bags of coffee and 2 shipping charges, which is not sustainable. That said, we ask that the rep take care of the customer just as we would; If your ordered them whole bean and they wanted ground, we strongly encourage you to make arrangements to pick up the bag, take it to the nearest grocery store (that has a grinder).
YES! As a Cutco rep, you now have the capability to sell 1-time orders. This can be done through your Vector ROLO portal and once on the Utopian Coffee page, you can select whether you’d like to enter a 1-time or a subscription order. If you place a 1-time order, be sure to enter the customer’s email address so that if they are interested, they can sign up for me and you will continue to get the commission!
As you can probably imagine, with tens of thousands of sales reps, it’s pretty difficult to give away coffee. That said, we encourage reps to sign up for the subscription, which accomplishes a couple of things:
1. You are then familiar with the process and the product because you are using it yourself, so you are better to able sell it.
2. You do get a discount, as you are getting the $2 back in commission and the already discounted ($2) price of the subscription.
