Red Ecolsierra is a cooperative founded in 2001 through a network of ecologically-minded coffee producers in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Ana mountain range located in northern Colombia. The farners of this region have made great improvements not only to overall coffee quality, but in their own committments to sustainable practices. “As a group, Red Ecolsierra has been able to bring many services to its members: the construction of basic sanitation systems, coffee pulp composting stations, garbage and recycling services, forest conservation, and wildlife protection programs, to name a few.” – Sustainable Harvest
