Expect a unique and flavorful cup with dessert like tones of nougat and chocolate with a mildly fruity finish of tangerine and gentle floral flavors.

Situated in the mountainous terrain east of the Hoja Blanco village you’ll find Arturo Vielmann’s farm Finca Los Angeles. Spanning across nearly three-hundred acres, Finca Los Angeles grows a variety of expressive varietals such as bourbon, caturra, and catuai at altitudes upward of 1600 MASL, leading to complex and dense flavors. Today, Finca Los Angeles is managed by Arturo’s son Vielmann Vides Villatoro Castillo, who lived in California for a season of life. Upon returning to Guatemala he began to oversee his father’s land and enthusiastically care for the coffee. His diligence and care are translated directly into the cup with clear and lively tones of tangerine and sweet candy tones reminiscent of nougat. This lot from Finca Los Angeles is a wonderful representation of the one of a kind terroir found in Huehuetenango and reminds us of our time spent there last spring.
