Producer Info

Galo Fernando Morales Flores, his wife Maria Alexandra Rivera, and their family grow exceptional coffee at Finca Cruz Loma, an 8-hectare farm in San José de Minas, Pichincha, Ecuador. Alongside coffee, they cultivate guanábana, corn, beans, and citrus, taking full advantage of the farm’s tropical climate.

In recent years, the farm has gained recognition, winning Pichincha’s regional quality competition and securing third place in Ecuador’s national “Taza Dorada” competition. Coffee has been in Galo’s family for over 80 years, and today, he and his four brothers carry on the tradition, with every family member playing a role in the coffee’s success.

At Utopian Coffee, we’re proud to support Finca Cruz Loma, partnering with farms focused on quality and sustainability.
